Description: This series focuses on common clinical conditions specific to the feline species and/or significantly different in the cat when compared to the dog. The program has been designed to challenge the user to develop a thorough understanding of feline anatomy, physiology, etiologies, differential diagnoses appropriate diagnostics and therapeutics within the context of total feline patient management. This module features: Differentiating GI vs. extra-GI disease as well as small vs. large bowel signs; Approach to a chronically vomiting cat; Demonstration of diagnostic procedures such as abdominocentesis, abdominal radiography (plain and contrast) and exploratory laparotomy; Foreign bodies, constipation and diarrhea covered in detail; Video clips of small and large intestinal surgery shown (gastrotomy, enterotomy, subtotal colectomy).

Includes a manual. It is important to note that there are individual modules in the Cardiology, Dermatology and the other series which focus specifically on diseases of the cat while still other series such as Dentistry series integrates feline cases within each module.
