This CD-ROM contains digital images relating to handling, husbandry and minor procedures.   A collection of 200 images showing methods of restraint, caging systems and methods for injection and blood sampling primarily in small mammals.   Includes Amphibian, Bird, Cat, Cow, Dog, Drugs, Equipment, Ferret, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Mouse, Pig, Primate, Rabbit, Rat, Reptile and Sheep.   Colour and Contrast Correction of all images in this version (Version 2.0).   It is therefore recommended that images used previously in presentations are replaced with images from this version.   Sample images are available at http://www.digires.co.uk/product/disc-3-handling-husbandry-and-minor-procedures.

Comments & References: Disc 3.   Volume 1.   It is made from 35 mm slides.   The images on this disc have been contributed by a number of contributors.   They are provided for use in teaching and for use in research seminars.   The images may be cropped, modified or cut out to suit particular purposes.   They may not however be used in any publications or in other image collections (either electronic or 35mm slide collections) without permission of the original contributors, who are all listed on the CD.   All contributors can be contacted through Professor Paul Flecknell, who also welcomes ideas for additions to the collection.   Requirements: The CD-ROM is readable by both Macintosh and PC (Windows) machines, as long as standard drivers are installed.   All images from this disc can be found in lower on-screen resolution on Disc 6, entitled On Screen Image Collection.   This CD-ROM may be ordered online from the Digires website.
